Parquet flooring is a classic among floor coverings. This is hardly surprising, as only real wood brings this natural atmosphere into a room. Whether it’s oak, walnut, beech or ash parquet, as a plank, 3-strip or in herringbone, anyone can find their personal favourite parquet flooring at MEISTER!
MEISTER parquet flooring is called Longlife because its special technical properties make this flooring extremely durable. Unlike many other parquet floors, our Longlife parquet products are largely pressure-resistant. The most important reason behind this is the extremely tough and stable middle layer made of HDF (high density fibreboard). We provide a 35-year warranty on the stable construction and durability of our parquet flooring! What’s more, the special HDF middle layer significantly increases the net weight of the installed area. Greater mass produces fewer vibrations and fewer vibrations generate less room noise. With MeisterParquet. longlife, your room is quieter. Of course, a high-quality parquet floor also features a fine wood wear layer with a thickness of at least 2.5 mm, which is protected by a special surface treatment – naturally oiled or ultra matt lacquered. In case you didn’t know, the wood for MEISTER flooring comes exclusively from certified sustainable forestry! The patented click systems make modern parquet flooring simple and convenient to install. Elaborate full-surface bonding is no longer necessary with this click parquet flooring (but is of course still possible on request!). Like all MEISTER products, the parquet floors are also 100% Made in Germany and are of the highest quality.
Parquet flooring is made of real wood, so it is an absolutely natural product. Unlike previously, when parquet consisted of heavy solid wood planks, modern parquet flooring is constructed of several layers and is also known as multilayer parquet or ready-made parquet. MEISTER Longlife parquet has three layers: the stable HDF middle layer, backing on the bottom and the high-grade wood covering layer (usually oak) on the top. And another thing that makes nature particularly happy: when you buy MEISTER parquet flooring, you make a contribution to environmental protection. This is because the perfect connection between the fine wood wear layer and the HDF middle layer in our multilayer parquet flooring reduces the amount of wood required by one tenth compared to a solid wooden floor.
MeisterParquet. longlife is either naturally oiled or ultra matt lacquered. The types of treatment have one thing in common: they ensure a particularly protective surface. Parquet flooring not only looks attractive, it is easy to clean and maintain, making it particularly hygienic. The surface also appears completely natural and antibacterial without additives. What’s more, as a natural product, wood regulates humidity and helps to create an ideal room climate. The cosy warmth underfoot that real wood provides, even in winter, is a further reason to take a good look at our range when deciding what to buy.
The MEISTER parquet flooring range includes different high-quality woods which have quite different appearances and properties. Whilst classic oak is very versatile, for example, beech is quite set in its colour. Walnut has a very dark colour, ash on the other hand looks light and very modern. Even really modern designs like white planks feature in the range. Rustic, traditional or modern – even when you’re selecting the wood, you can choose the look to match your personal taste and home furniture.
And that’s not all! The range of surface finishes means that numerous further variations are possible. Brushed wood flooring has very pronounced structures, for example. These are the result of wire brushes removing the softer parts of the wood. In the case of limed wood flooring, which stands out on account of its intensive grain, the wood pores are given a coloured filling. Smoked or lightly smoked wood has a dark vintage look. The parquet flooring formats range from XXL planks to classic 3-strips and small strips.
Even more variety and versatility is offered by different laying patterns, such as herringbone parquet – a traditional wooden floor that is currently very much in vogue again.
Sustainable. Robust. Practical. That is Lindura wood flooring. Its wood powder technology makes this innovative flooring particularly durable, robust and easy to maintain. Lindura is therefore significantly more indent-resistant than parquet flooring and withstands wear caused by falling objects or heavy furniture. Lindura wood flooring is even water-resistant (24 hours) und and can be installed in humid rooms. What’s more, it is very easy to maintain and resistant to micro-scratches and stains, especially in the ultra matt lacquered design. Its special product structure means that Lindura surfaces only need an eighth of the wood required for multilayer parquet flooring, making it particularly sustainable and resource-efficient.
Parquet flooring is generally suitable across the entire home. The natural qualities of the real wood is a real visual and haptic highlight in both living rooms and bedrooms. In the kitchen, hallway or kids’ playroom, floors are subject to more wear. For these rooms, the easier to maintain and more durable ultra matt lacquered parquet flooring is somewhat better suited than oiled parquet.
NEW: MeisterParquet. longlife is also suitable for use in bathrooms (not in wet rooms). What makes that possible? A secure click connection and special edge impregnation (AquaStop) that protects the wood against standing water for up to 4 hours. So there’s no longer anything standing in the way of your dream wood flooring across the whole house, with no exceptions.
In larger rooms, parquet planks can bring their beauty to the forefront, while eye-catching herringbone parquet also reveals its pattern across larger areas particularly well. For smaller rooms, 3-strip parquet flooring is a great option. Even the direction in which the flooring is installed to the incoming light can have a real influence on the room’s effect and can make it appear larger or narrower.

MEISTER click parquet flooring is easy, quick and safe to install – and the fit of each plank is always highly precise. This is guaranteed by clever, patented click systems. They ensure a secure joint connection, and the planks cannot be disconnected from one another after installation. Water and dirt cannot penetrate them. This increased safety applies to both floating installation and bonding on a suitable subfloor. You can either install our parquet flooring yourself or have a professional with the relevant expertise do the job for you. Your MEISTER specialist retailer can recommend specialist fitters from your area.
Parquet flooring from MEISTER can be installed on underfloor heating without any problems as it transports the heat to the surface quickly without losing much energy. The reason is that in contrast to standard spruce boards, there aren’t any air pockets in the high density HDF middle layer that might have a heat-insulating effect. As a result, the heat from the underfloor heating goes straight to where it should: your living space. This guarantees both a high level of living comfort and optimised heating costs.
