All data which is collected within the scope of using this website or in the forms provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below is processed on its servers. 2. Access data in server log files
Every time you call up a website, the webserver only automatically stores a server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, data and time of the request, amount of data transmitted and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the request.
This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purposes of ensuring error-free operation of the website as well as improving our offer. 3. Data collection and use for initiating contact
We collect personal data if you provide it to us when initiating contact with us (e.g. by contact form or email). We use the data you provide to process your enquires. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1(a) p. 1 GDPR on the basis of your voluntary consent.
After processing the enquiries, your data is restricted for further processing and deleted upon the expiry of any tax and commercial retention periods unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the right to further data use which is permitted by law and about which we inform you below.
4. Data processing for postal advertising and your right to object
We also reserve the right to use your first and last name as well as your postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post. 5. Images that have been uploaded to the visualisation tool (“View flooring in my room”)
Please note that it is not permitted to upload images that contain personal data (such as people within the room) when using our “View flooring in my room” service. With this in mind, please always ensure that there are no people in your pictures.
When you are using our service, please only use images that you wish to transfer to our servers. This is necessary so we can automatically process the images and offer you our photo service. You can also access the images at a later time, although they are generally deleted after a period of 30 days of inactivity. Please be aware that we may save individual images for a limited period in order to train and improve its recognition algorithms. If you do not agree to this, please delete any images you have uploaded to our application immediately after use.
6. Cookies and other technologies

Google Analytics
For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information on your use of our website), from which usage profiles are created with the use of pseudonyms. Cookies can be used for this purpose. The IP address is, as a rule, not combined with other Google data. The data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement on order processing by Google.
Use of Google Maps to provide a specialist retailer proximity search
For the visual presentation of geographical information, Google Maps collects data about your usage of the maps functions, especially the IP address and location data, transmits them to Google, and Google then processes them. This serves, in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1(f) p. 1 GDPR, to safeguard our legitimate interests in enabling the specialist retailer proximity search as a basic function of the website, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests.
YouTube video plugin
To integrate third-party content, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected via the YouTube video plugin in the extended data protection mode used by us, transmitted to Google and then processed by Google only when you play a video.
